Summary

Peckish Bear is designed to work without an account. Game progress such as high scores, run history, and remaining hearts is stored locally on your device. The App is free and supported by advertising through Google AdMob.

Information We Store on Your Device

The App may store the following locally using iOS storage (UserDefaults):

Best score and top run history
Remaining hearts and heart regeneration timing
Other gameplay preferences needed for the App to function

We do not operate a server that collects this gameplay data. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data on your device removes this information.

Advertising

Peckish Bear displays ads provided by Google AdMob:

An interstitial ad may appear after a run ends
A rewarded ad may be shown if you choose to watch one to earn an extra heart

Google may collect and use information from your device to serve and measure ads, consistent with Google’s policies. That may include device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details through normal gameplay.

Information We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not require you to create an account and we do not knowingly collect:

Name, email address, or phone number through the App itself
Precise GPS location
Photos, contacts, or calendar data
Health or biometric information

Children’s Privacy

Peckish Bear is suitable for a general audience. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that have their own privacy practices, including:

Google AdMob — advertising
Apple App Store — app distribution and purchases (none in-app at this time)

Data Retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete the App or reset its data. Advertising partners may retain data according to their own retention schedules.

Your Choices

You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
You can reset advertising identifiers in iOS privacy settings
Rewarded ads are optional — you are never required to watch them to use the App

International Users

If you use the App outside your home country, information processed by advertising partners may be transferred to and stored in other jurisdictions, including the United States.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
